Choueifat
Bloody Pentecost
By
Franklin Lamb
"I
tried to change the subject and I
mentioned my 12 year old daughter in the
States. I told Aya how much I missed her
and wished she could come to Lebanon and
the girls could be friends. “And you
could teach her more Arabic and show her
around your beautiful country and you
could do fun stuff.”
“I
have a better idea,” Aya said. “Why
don’t I just go to America and stay with
her for awhile?”(More) |

Mr
Bush and the Goat
By Antoun Haddad
It’s a goat”, says Mr
Bush. “You’re mistaken Mr Bush!” Responds
the rest of the world. “How could this
damn thing be a goat when we all can see
that it’s flying?” They add in
anticipation of some convincing answer.
“A goat cannot fly Mr Bush!” They
continue after waiting to no avail for
an explanation from Mr Bush, as he keeps
insisting that flying thing is a goat
and keeps trying to convince the whole
world that a goat can fly indeed!
How can Mr Bush be so
paranoid and so delusional? Isn’t he
the president of the United States?
Don’t they call him “Mr President”?
Hasn’t he been elected by the people of
the United States? How can the American
people choose to the first job a person
who is as delusional and paranoid as Mr
Bush? Are delusion and paranoia
pre-requisite characteristics of those
candidates for the first and most
important job in the USA? Or, do
candidate become delusional and paranoid
after they are elected to this job?
Resorting to the history
of the United States and the history of
its successive presidents to find some
answers to our questions, we have failed
to compare Mr Bush to any of those
presidents except his father perhaps.
We concluded that Mr Bush is a stand
alone president of the USA. Only time
will tell if the Americans, and the rest
of the world for that matter, will be
“endowed” (ravaged is a better verb)
with a like of Mr Bush ever again.
When there were no
weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and
the whole world could see that there
were no weapons of mass destruction in
Iraq, sadistic Mr Bush insisted
otherwise and as a result initiated an
aggression which destroyed Iraq, claimed
about one million Iraqi victims so far,
killed about 5000 US soldiers and many
thousands wounded and put the United
States in unenviable situation.
Yet Mr Bush insists that
he brought democracy to Iraq and the
dying and devastated Iraqis can practice
democracy now, the democracy of death to
be precise.

The
Tent - Part 4

What
went in the mind of Sa’id Jumblat in
1860,
when he was imprisoned at the Grand
Serail, awaiting trial and being
“persuaded” by the British to accuse
Khorshid Pasha (1) of
instigating the massacres in the Chouf?

The Lion and the Gazelle
By Uri
Avnery
Every
year I marvel again at the genius of
this ceremony. It unites the whole
family, and everyone - from the
venerable grandfather to the smallest
child - has a role in it. It engages all
the senses: seeing, hearing, smelling,
tasting and touching. (More) |

A massacre in
Akkar (North of Lebanon) |
|
Is it Lebanon or
Rwanda?!! (Details of The Halba
Massacre)
I've been trying to
sum up the words to write this post for
over an hour now, and honestly...no
words can sum up what happened yesterday
and all the events that followed in Halba, Akkar.
On friday night,
mosques across Akkar, called for
demonstrations in Halba. At the time, I
was with a bunch of friends from
different political parties
(pro-government and opposition).
Everybody present knew what was going
to happen at that demonstration. They
all knew because it had happened before.
Future movement called for a
demonstration that soon turned into an
attack on the SSNP headquarters in Halba,
the result was 5 FMers (Hariri Militia )
injured and the attack was repelled.
( Huh, on that day,
I was arrested for several hours on
suspicion that I was between the SSNPers
that fired machine guns, even though I
wasn't even in the same area at the time
of the clash, a fact that the police
knew, since I WAS THEN all day long
taking pictures of the demonstrations
and I even arrived with them to the
scene). (More) |

The Jewish race
A prophecy of Benjamin Franklin on 1789
"There is a grave danger for USA. This
great danger is the Jew, for in every
land the Jews have settled they have
depressed the moral level and lowered
the degree of commercial honesty. They
have remained apart unassimilated,
oppressed, they attempt to strangle the
nations financially, as in the case of
Portugal and Spain.
For more than 1700 years they have
lamented their sorrowful fate, namely,
that they have been driven out of their
mother land, but gentlemen, if the
civilized world today should give them
back Palestine, they would immediately
find pressing reasons for not returning
there. Why?? Because they are vampires
and vampires cannot live on other
vampires. They cannot live among
themselves; they must live on Christians
or other people who do not belong to
their race.

Mission Statement
The purpose of this website is to
promote and
enlighten
the general public about
Anton
Saadeh’s Ideology. Its target
is the Syrian emigrants and their
descendents in the western
hemisphere. Its objectives are (1)
to foster a greater awareness of,
and interest in, Syria’s national
cause; (2) reaffirm the conviction
that Saadeh’s
plan of action is the practical
solution to all the internal
problems and external threats that
are endangering the very existence
of our nation; and (3) to cultivate
a rock solid determination and will
to act. In
particular the website targets the
emerging Syrian generation abroad,
whose lack of Arabic prevents them
from comprehending, appreciating and
applying
Saadeh’s
new vision to Life, the Universe and
Art. |

Our Cause, our Blues and our
Responsibilities
By Munir Haidar
There
is no cause that is so clear, so
simple, so fair, so just, so solid,
so righteous, so needed, so vital
and so important than the Syrian
Cause. Yet, there is no cause that
is more exposed and subjected to all
kinds of ambiguities, ignorance,
confusions, complexities,
adversities, opposing forces,
aggressions and injustices than this
very same cause.
The Syrian Cause is
about life, freedom, unity, sovereignty, prosperity, dignity
and secured future for our people. It is about the
national identity, our people social cohesion and its
unity. It is about convincing all parts of our people that
their true salvation and their very existence are wholly and
utterly founded on their national unity and their social
cohesion. It is about making all parts of our people
realise that they are not Assyrians, they are not Sumerians,
they are not Chaldeans, they are not Akkadians, they are not
Phoenicians, they are not Kurds, they are not Arabs, nor are
they Muslims, Christians, Druze, Sunnis, Shiites, etc., but
they all are Syrians moulded by the unique Syrian
Civilisation and integrated into its very basic elements.
It’s about leading our people to work hand-in-hand, provoked
by their love for life, persuaded by their strong and free
will, armed with creative minds and motivated by their
harmonious and unified souls.
This is on one hand.
On the other hand, the Syrian Cause is about defending the
very existence of our people, their interests and their
rights, against myriad of foreign and external forces that
hold a real and genuine threat to this very existence and
threaten its natural interests and its intrinsic rights.
Our people have never experienced, at any stage of their
long and exciting history, a threat similar to the ferocious
threat imposed on them at the present some sadistic and
satanic forces. They have never encountered any thing
similar to such forces which despicable intention to uproot
them from their land, the land which has embraced their
fathers and ancestors for thousands of years, only to be
replaced by rogues and ramblers from all over the world. (More) |
